Beware lest you lose the substance by grasping at the shadow. Beware lest in your anxiety to avoid war you obtain a master. Beware of what temptation brings.
I've been noticing a number of young men around GTown with very fitted sports jackets. While the look makes the common man commuting from loafers to flip-flops look a tad out of place, it still has a bit of flare that makes that same man look a bit more complex. I'm not going to go out and buy one just to be complex, but I must say; I am going to go out and buy one once I've become complex enough to deserve it. #lifeisawaitinggame
Met with some friends over the weekend. One of them is the most well dressed person that I know, and she was able to show me the proper way to wear leather gloves. This guy does the same thing. I'm still getting used to finding the proper fit in a pair, but I know that once I do, I wouldn't mind holding on to them. Especially if I'm going for that country club equestrian look, haha. Unlike the previous post, he's not meshing patterns, but instead is working with a crazy pattern that uses a crazy combination of colors. That's definitely more my style.
P.S. I would mug him so hard for that jacket. #jealous
Tell me that you don't like his patterns. True, I'm not a big fan of mixing patterns, (especially anything with polka dots) but there's something about the way that the colors work that makes this look pretty cool. I had assumed that the Navajo was just a fad, but it's been around for a pretty long time. Let's see if it can get passed one more season. If it does, then I think I can give myself a small celebration.
I've always been a fan of subtle tones, and the way that this home works is just the epitome of neutral tones working perfectly with acute splashes of color. The floral decorations and designs really make this home something to remember. It's also very spacious, which is attributed to the neutral... obvi.
Sometimes you just need to step back and look at all of the possibilities. You may find that what you want is completely different than what you need... and why deny yourself what you want?
There seems to be some sort of calamity in this photograph. There's always a side that grows a bit overzealous with what they expect from themselves. There comes a time when things just have to even out.
