I love the way inspiration works, and it is so rarely chronicled. I'm in the process of creating something- and it's so crazy to think about where my inspiration comes from. You honestly cannot avoid seeing something, and wondering how it will affect your work. Whether it be random crap, mixed with movie stars and art like J. Crew's designers, or it be a piece of literature and retro photography like so many photo blogs that you see; it's a crazy process. Honestly, I'm still trying to find the basis of inspiration for a project that I am working on- but that's the beauty of it all: You can never really plan inspiration.
